1A Raingutter System

I bought a set of Yakima Racks back in 1995. Back then it was these towers and the round bars. Simple, versatile, reliable. Since then I have used these to transport rowing shells (light!), a hundred pound kayak that lived on top of my truck for 2.5 years (medium), and I have hauled long lumber ranging from 20-30 pounds to well over the weight limit. Never any problems. The vinyl coating hasn't even scraped off.
I use extender bars on one side of my truck. The ones with the sand dollar on the end. These bars telescope out, making it possible for a single (old) guy to load a 100# kayak by myself. Many people see these and want them. I can never remember the fancy marketing name, for them, but always suggest they can find them on this website. But right now I can't seem to find them, myself. I hope they are not discontinued. If so, I might lower my rating to four stars. The towers and crossbars are very good, but these extenders make them great.

Great for random vehicles with gutters.

Bought my first Yakima rack for my 2015 Jeep JKU. I am incredibly excited to be able to carry extra gear when I go to the mountains. Planning to pair it was a cargo box next!
