      Good Product

Got these to fit an older Yakima ski rack with round bar mounts to fit on my 2018 CRV with aero type bars. A number of reviews noted that figuring out the mounting options was confusing. I think I’d agree if you weren’t a bit of a diy’er. Took me a bit, but figured it out okay. One note, the mounting nut for the round bar mount will not work because it won’t clear the new mounts. I simply used 1/4” lock nuts and 2” carriage bolts that I already had. Happy with the fit and it seems amply secure. Also note that not being able to use the existing mounting nuts negates the anti theft function of the original design

      Easy install, works with Powderhound

I had a PowderHound ski rack but the mounts didn’t fit my new vehicle. These are perfect; however, the problem identified by other reviewers being unable to use the attaching bolts and handles can be solved by attaching the adapter to the ski rack first, then screwing on the top piece, and then attaching to the crossbar last. No cutting of parts needed, and that way the rack can’t be unscrewed from the mounts if the rack is locked. You do need to either purchase a bolt lock separately or use a cable lock to keep the mounts themselves from being unscrewed from the crossbars. Worked well for me. I’d give 5 stars if the bolt locks were included.

      Excellent!

I bought these to use with a Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro rack. They come can be configured to fit the crossbars perfectly! You may have to use your own (or buy additional) hardware to mount the desired item. I've got mine currently attached to a Rotopax mounting plate and they work flawlessly!

      Not as advertised

Yakima customer service claims that you can/should mount these on a diagonal with kayak saddles. How?

      Fantastic!

I bought a set of Universal MightyMounts, in 2012, for my 2011 Xterra with factory bars. Fit is perfect and I've made great use of them. Just bought a 2019 Subaru Ascent, with factory bars, and the fit is ... perfect! Both vehicles ave aero-style bars. Mounts are made of high-quality plastic, and the hardware is top-notch. $49 does not seem like a lot to pay for this level of quality. A reasonable price and high-quality spells high-value for me. And, you can purchase these, and be relatively confident that they'll fit future vehicles.

      Works OK...with some adjustment

Bought this for a 2012 Chevy Traverse with factory rails. Very flexible system, which is nice. Works with my 10 year old Yakima Ski racks. One caveat: I needed to cut the plastic from the screws that connects the ski rack to the roof rack. There isn't enough clearance for that.

      Works good

This does fit a 2016 Honda Pilot with factory rack rails and cross bars. Everything is now at least an inch higher. The small bottom piece fits snug to the top piece. It tightens easily and is very snug. Lots of pieces but it works with my Hully Rollers and Mako Saddles and will work for the powderhound ski rack. Bought thru Amazon at full retail because none of the dealers carried it.
