I love the rugged base for the RAV4. Easy install if you’re at all handy. Need to purchase to Rivnut Tool (18” works well). Worked out the attachment points and created a wood worker’s rack for small lords of boards or a sheet or two of plywood. A nice feature of the base rack is that it squares off the upper rack mounting holes. Normally the front of a car rack is wider than the rear (at least on the RAV4), so this feature made the design of the wood rack relatively simple. Very sturdy and great quality!
